ready for some alphabet soup?

this is my final contact sheet of all my letters. some of them i really like, and some of them i wish i never submitted.

these are just a few images from my latest design project. our objective was to find the entire alphabet in different objects outside. i chose to do lower case letters bacause i was apparently crazy on the day that we shot in class, but it worked out pretty alright.

right so....this is my fourth digital media project and i am really disappointed in it. in all honesty i actually hate it most times that i look at it. the only aspect of this poster that i like is the fact that its my favorite color, purple. for this project i had to pick lyrics to a song and make a poster that speaks for those lyrics. the ones i chose were from the band A SKYLIT DRIVE and the lyrics were, " listen to all my stories this will be our last chance, cause people die and people dance." this wasnt my original idea at all which coul play a part in my dislike for it. i tried to " engrave" the lyrics in the tombstones but it didnt turn out so hot. i think if i find the time( haha time...) then ill go back and fuck with illustrator some more.

This, however, I prefer to call "completed". It is obviously missing something but I can't figure it out. I don't really like it very much because of this missing piece so I guess I just have to keep working on it when I have the time. (hahah, time, who has that anymore)

I've got the notion for motion

This was a motion pic that i liked quite a bit taken right on the side of N. College Ave; it appears to be the royal school colors but in reality i just photoshopped the bitch. I lowered the temp, and raised the brightness until it had this ethereal glowing effect.

Steel Rendezvous

I have a love for this railroad so I decided to post all of the shots that I took from this particular night. Obviously not all of them are good, but I felt bad for wanting to leave some out so I just stuck them all on here.

Vibration

My favorite place to be on campus would have to be this lone track of steel. The only problem in taking this pick was that the track started to rumble signaling an incoming train.....oh shit. haha.

Beginning

This photograph was one of the first I have ever taken in my entire life which is why i have chosen to use it as my starting peace. This picture is not great, or even very good, but it's my beginning, and if progression is want you want then this is where ill begin. I have not even done photography as a hobby so I assume that means it was of no interest to me--i guess we'll see how it goes.
